KEY DESIGN DECISIONS

Home feed, categories and cart.

Three decisions shape how shoppers discover products and manage their cart.

01

Feed and category views

Browsing offers two routes: a mixed home feed for discovery and a dedicated category grid for shoppers who know what they want.

02

Cart selections

Cart rows expose selected variants and quantity controls before the payment action.

03

Home-feed groups

Promotions and product rows are separate content groups, so offers stay distinct from the regular catalogue.

Each of these decisions shipped in GoCart.

Key structures in the shipped product:

  • The home feed mixes discovery formats; the category grid isolates product-group choices.
  • Product variants remain visible in each cart row.
  • Quantity adjustment and payment are presented on the same cart surface.

What I’d Change
Next

Looking back, I’d make a quantity change update the line price and cart total visibly in place, so shoppers see the result immediately.
